Questions
Does OmniTill work without internet?
Yes. You need internet once to sign in and set up your store. After that, selling, printing, stock and reports all work offline, and everything syncs automatically when you are back online.
Which businesses can use OmniTill?
Any shop that sells products: pharmacies and medical stores, supermarkets, megamarts, grocery and kiryana stores, utility stores, electronics and mobile shops, clothing and shoe stores, hardware, cosmetics and general retail. Switch on the fields your business needs, such as batch and expiry for medicines or weighed items for groceries.
Which receipt printers does it support?
58 mm and 80 mm ESC/POS thermal receipt printers over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi/LAN (port 9100) and USB on Android, plus built-in printers on Sunmi handhelds. A cash drawer plugged into the printer opens automatically.
Can I use a barcode scanner?
Yes. Scan with the phone camera, or connect a Bluetooth or USB barcode scanner that types like a keyboard. You can also print barcode labels for products that do not have one.
Which languages and currencies are supported?
OmniTill is available in English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese, with full right-to-left layout for Urdu and Arabic. Prices and receipts use your local currency.
Is my shop data safe?
Your records are kept on your phone and synced to your business's private cloud account, which only members of your business can read. OmniTill has no ads and no tracking.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Branches share one product catalog, while stock, sales and cash are kept separately for each branch, and you can transfer stock between them.
